Bird Journal Mobile
Bird Journal mobile recorder is the perfect birder's companion for recording bird sightings when on the move. The mobile version will be released in the UK first, then the US and Australia.
Recording your sightings is easy using the smartly designed interface to find and record species instantly. For each species you record the app automatically adds a timestamp and a geotag. Mapping is built into the app so that each species with a geotag can be pin-pointed on a map showing you exactly where you spotted that Aquatic Warbler.
Bird Journal is ready to record those sightings throughout your day whether you are in the garden, travelling to work, out for a walk, you'll always have your journal to hand.
Unlike paper where notes can be messy and unreadable when it comes to typing up your sightings, Bird Journal lets you export your sightings into a spreadsheet format, which can then be transferred onto your computer via iTunes file sharing. For users of Bird Journal desktop version, sightings can be imported directly into Bird Journal by using it's import wizard.
What's amazing about Bird Journal is for the first time there are no barriers when it comes to recording what you've seen. Custom properties let you record as much or as little as you like. No matter what level of birder you are there is no greater pleasure than remembering what you've seen and where you've seen it. Your sightings are always there with Bird Journal.
Never forget a birding moment!
